The clinical generalist will provide pharmaceutical care services to the patients of 2 hospitals locations in Central and North Fort Wayne.
Clinical Generalist rotate through clinical and distribution services, however, anticipate being assigned to a clinical pharmacist role >

Main Responsibilities : Multidisciplinary rounds 7 days per week.Oversight, monitoring, preparation, dispensing, and proper documentation of patietn medication therapyAdvising physicians on matters pertaining to drug usage and control.
Providing drug informaiton, patient information, and oversight of information and dispensing processes and systems is also critical.
Clinical practices include : dosing and monitoring anticoagulants, antimmicrobials including vancomycin, total parenteral nutrition, patient-controlled analgesia, and others.
Generalist have ample opportunity to mentor pharmacy IPPE / APPE students, 5 PGY1 pharmacy residents and 1 PGY2 ambulatory care pharmacy resident.
