Our commitment to purpose, innovation, communities, and kindness aligns with your values, inspiring you to bring dedication, creativity, and compassion to your role. If this resonates with you, we want to hear from you!

About Us

At Honest Health, we are leading the transformation in primary care through purpose and partnership. Our team of healthcare experts collaborates with a diverse range of stakeholders—including health systems, physician organizations, payers, and patients—to deliver groundbreaking solutions that enhance care quality, control costs, and promote long-term health. We are establishing a value-driven model that ensures lasting benefits for everyone now and in the future.

Your Role

As the Chief Medical Officer, you will collaborate closely with the Market General Manager while overseeing all medical operations for Honest Health in your area. You will provide medical leadership for the implementation and ongoing adoption of our diagnosis and documentation programs, Quality / Stars initiatives, and cost of care strategies, which include our care management programs. Engaging with leaders of medical groups and health systems, you will implement Honest's value-based care approach while leading your market's Director of Nursing & Clinical Operations. This position is remote, but you must be within the market area to meet with team members and external partners in person and visit physician offices and healthcare facilities as needed.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Foster a successful partnership between Honest Health and external partners, addressing the needs of all stakeholders, including patients, external partners, and Honest team members.
  • Act as the liaison among all parties, maintaining a patient-centric focus rooted in collaboration and understanding.
  • Provide consultative oversight for clinical programs related to chronic disease management, advanced care planning, and quality measures, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices.
  • Represent Honest Health in all stakeholder meetings, including weekly and monthly operational meetings and external partner board assemblies.
  • Manage escalated clinical issues, including partner and patient complaints.
  • Build relationships with external partner practices and primary care providers, reviewing key performance indicators (KPIs) and identifying opportunities for engagement with Honest Health.
  • Collaborate closely with the Market General Manager and Directors of Market Operations on clinical and operational activities.
  • Ensure continuous adherence to compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize data to identify market-level opportunities for improved KPIs.
  • Work with other markets and corporate teams to strategize and prioritize business growth.
  • Establish local market relationships that showcase the value Honest Health brings to provider practices.
  • Perform other related responsibilities as assigned.

  • You possess a strong understanding of clinical standards of care, focusing on improving patients’ quality of life.
  • You have extensive experience in areas such as geriatrics, chronic disease management, and palliative care.
  • You are skilled at coordinating with a variety of healthcare professionals and interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective care transitions and communication.
  • You have excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with patients, families, other healthcare providers, and stakeholders.
  • You excel at building collaborative relationships and fostering a positive work environment.
  • You have reliable access to high-speed internet and are prepared to travel to work sites, maintaining a valid driver's license and motor vehicle insurance.
