Fleetwood Bank , the only Bank headquartered in Berks County, PA is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as the Vice President of Retail Banking.

Position Summary :

Working with the CEO and other members of the leadership team, the Vice President – Retail Banking is responsible for managing the Retail Banking Division in order to meet the financial services needs of the Bank's customers; establishing and implementing the vision for the delivery of our retail banking model; developing a plan to capitalize on the changes Fleetwood Bank is making to its retail model and providing an innovative approach to deliver on these changes; continuing to develop our Universal Banker model and growing our sales culture; inspiring our retail team to want to deliver on goals and objectives as established in the Retail Banking Division's annual operating plan; creating an environment where our employees are engaged and working towards common goals; developing a team and empowering them to do their jobs with confidence; embracing change and building a team that also embraces change; managing multiple projects while maintaining focus on the items that are critical to our success; making decisions and standing behind them; providing active management of the Fleetwood branch; ensuring the division's compliance with various operating policies and procedures and various regulatory requirements; supervising assigned personnel; communicating effectively with employees, customers, and management of the organization; providing periodic management reports.

Responsibilities :

• Manages the Retail Banking Division in order to meet the financial services needs of the Bank's customers as follows :
• Manages the Bank's sales function in order to support customer service activities as follows :
• Develops, implements, and achieves annual goals and objectives as established in the Retail Banking Division's annual operating plan.
• Develops a team and empowers them to do their jobs with confidence.
• Manages multiple projects while maintaining a focus on the items that are critical to the Bank's success.
• Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote a positive workplace culture.
• Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the Bank's compliance with all regulatory requirements, e.g. Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act, etc.; ensures that the division and all personnel adhere to the same.
• Directly supervises assigned personnel
• Possess a working knowledge of all retail operations, including the ability to run basic & complex transactions.
• Communicates effectively with employees, customers, and management of the organization

Qualifications :

Education / Training : A B.S. or B.A. degree in a related field normally required; specialized banking education and training related to retail banking and marketing.

Skill(s) : Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; a thorough knowledge of current retail banking operations and current lending regulations, procedures, and operations; proficient composition skills; demonstrated management and supervisory skills; visual and auditory skills; valid driver's license.

Experience : A minimum of ten (10) years' related experience normally required.

Hours : This position requires the ability to work during normal retail operational hours, including some Saturday shifts.
