Overview

The Commercial Operations Coordinator is an entry-level position within our sales department, designed to provide foundational support in the customer service and order fulfillment process. This role focuses on ensuring seamless service delivery, managing customer records, and providing administrative assistance during customer onboarding.

As the primary lead for all will-call and walk-in customers, the Commercial Operations Coordinator plays a key role in creating a positive customer experience. This individual collaborates closely with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate order processing, coordinated deliveries, and effective communication with the sales team.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for will-call and walk-in customers, ensuring prompt, professional service, and accurate processing of will-call payments
• Handle cash, credit card, and check transactions; balance the cash drawer and reconcile daily register totals in accordance with company policies
• Print sales orders, process invoicing, and communicate discrepancies with the sales team and other departments to ensure timely resolution
• Maintain and update customer records and documentation
• Coordinate with sales, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure on-time deliveries
• Assist with new customer onboarding and administrative processes
