Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to leverage relationships to support growth in the CapTech Partnerships Ecosystem.

As Partnership Business Development Lead, you will be driving growth by opening new doors with Fortune 1000 clients as well as nurturing existing relationships.

Specific Responsibilities for the Microsoft Partnership Business Development Lead include :

Partnership Development

  • Align partnership goals with CapTech’s overall business strategy to ensure coherence and focus.
  • Identify Microsoft SMEs to work on pre-sales, develop CapTech Microsoft services, thought leadership content, and run Chalk-Talks.

Thought Leadership

  • Develop a deep understanding of Microsoft platform and its capabilities and position CapTech as a thought leader in the space.
  • Sponsor Conferences and engage in speaking events

Value Proposition Development

  • Develop solutions that address specific technical or industry challenges.
  • Set up a Microsoft Community of Practice at CapTech

Marketing

  • Market our Microsoft services to our existing clients and to new prospects.
  • Co-Marketing : Collaborate with Microsoft on joint marketing activities such as co-branded webinars, conferences, and events.
  • Partner with CapTech to create content and marketing collateral to enable sales that highlights our experience and services

Account Management / Business Development

  • Create client outreach cadence : Engage with clients through regular communication, providing insights and recommendations based on their specific need and build awareness of our capabilities.
  • Joint Strategic Account Management : CapTech can work closely with Microsoft to identify strategic accounts and jointly manage client relationships.

AM / BD needs to develop relationships with Microsoft leaders in their markets or verticals and drive these actions.

  • Follow Through : If we are engaging with on account alignment and discussing opportunities, we need to follow through on our commitments.
  • Accreditations : Commit to earning Microsoft Sales & Technical Sales Accreditations

Operations

  • Track progress to Partnership Performance Measurements goals.
  • Track Partner Projects.

Qualifications

Specific qualifications for the Microsoft Partnership Business Development Lead position include :

  • 7+ years of proven sales and account management experience in management consulting industry, preferably to Fortune 1000 organizations
  • Experience leading both Client and CapTech teams through complex technology solution sales
  • 2+ years of proven knowledge and expertise in Microsoft Ecosystem.
  • Excellent collaboration and team building skills
  • Experience building relationships with C-suite stakeholders and business decision makers
  • Ability to assess client needs, identify omissions and gaps, and define optimal solution
  • Creative thinking and the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex technical / business problems
  • Ability to establish immediate credibility with clients, build consensus, and achieve goals through influence
  • Excellent communication, listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Results-oriented in spite of obstacles; ability to balance important versus urgent work to achieve long-term results
