Sr. APQP Engineer

As a Quality / Test Engineer, you will facilitate and develop new elements of APQP including process FMEAs, control plans and process flow diagrams.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Attend weekly staff and prioritization meetings.
• Support and track recommended action from the process FMEAs.
• Independent scheduling and lead APQP readiness meetings with manufacturing engineering teams.
• Review and / or develop process capability studies and measurement systems analysis.
• Create final production part approval documentation (PPAP).
• Perform documentation and presentation at stakeholder updates.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

Bachelor's degree in engineering with 8-10 years’ experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS :

Ability to facilitate and create all APQP elements including Process Flow, Control Plan and Process Failure Modes and Effect Analysis (PFMEA).

Excel experience.

PowerPoint experience.

Teams experience.

DESIRED SKILLS :

Prior automotive industry experience.

SOFT SKILLS REQUIRED :

Ability to facilitate and host cross functional meetings in person and virtual.

Ability to manage priorities across multiple projects.
