We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Morris Plains, New Jersey. This is a long-term contract position that offers a hybrid work schedule, requiring occasional in-office presence. The role provides an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and friendly environment, supporting various HR functions and contributing to the company’s operations.
Responsibilities :
- Administer payroll processes and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage recruitment activities, including sourcing candidates and facilitating onboarding.
- Handle employee relations, providing support and resolving workplace concerns.
- Oversee HR documentation such as onboarding and termination forms.
- Coordinate and track employee leaves of absence.
- Serve as a liaison between the company and its insurance broker as needed.
- Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate employee records.
- Order office supplies and manage inventory as required.
- Support training initiatives, with increased in-office presence during onboarding periods.
- Ensure compliance with company policies regarding vaccination and mask requirements.
- At least 1 year of experience in an HR-related role.
- Proficiency in data entry and maintaining accurate records.
- Familiarity with payroll systems; experience with ADP Workforce Now is a plus.
- Strong recruitment and onboarding skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a personable demeanor.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid work environment.
- Business casual dress code Monday through Thursday; casual Fridays are observed.
