Gamer's Choice is a team of passionate gamers, creators, and innovators based in Queens, New York. What began as a small local shop has grown into one of the leading destinations for Trading Card Game players and collectors around the world. We're driven by a shared love for gaming and community, offering both an engaging online experience and a vibrant in-store atmosphere. Our mission is to be the ultimate home for fans to connect, compete, and celebrate the games they love. While Yu-Gi-Oh! has always been our foundation, we're expanding into exciting new titles like Pokmon, One Piece, Riftbound, and Disney Lorcana. Our Long Island City store serves as the heart of our community, hosting tournaments, events, and gatherings that bring players together both in person and online.

We're looking for a creative and passionate Social Media Coordinator to help us grow and connect with fans across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. You'll be at the heart of creating content that's both fun and relevant to Pokmon , Yu-Gi-Oh! , and One Piece fans. If you're someone who loves these franchises and knows what makes social media content really click, we want you to be part of our team.

What You'll Be Doing :

• Content Creation : Coming up with creative, share-worthy posts that engage fans and keep them coming back for more. Your content will highlight the latest news, trends, and fan culture around Pokmon , Yu-Gi-Oh! , and One Piece .
• Scripting & Planning : Writing scripts for videos, building content calendars, and collaborating with the team to make sure everything fits into the bigger picture.
• Filming & Editing : Shooting videos and bringing them to life with cool edits, transitions, and effects. Whether it's for TikTok or a more polished Instagram post, you'll make sure our content stands out.
• Scheduling & Coordination : Keeping everything organized by scheduling posts or tracking deadlines with tools like Google Workspace, Trello, and Later.
• Community Engagement : Engaging with our followers by responding to comments, answering questions, and participating in fan conversations to build an active and positive community.
• Trend Spotting : Staying on top of what's trending, especially for Pokmon , Yu-Gi-Oh! , and One Piece , so our content stays fresh and relevant.
• Team Collaboration : Working closely with different teams to ensure all the content aligns with our brand's goals and voice.

What We're Looking For :

Experience : You have 1-2 years of experience working with social media contentwhether that's in a professional setting or as a hobby. Bonus points if you're already into Pokmon , Yu-Gi-Oh! , or One Piece .

Skills :

Passion for Trading Card Games : You get what makes Pokmon , Yu-Gi-Oh! , and One Piece so special, and you're excited to create content that reflects that passion.

Preferred (But Not Required) : A Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field. However, we believe that experience is just as important, so if you've got a strong portfolio and relevant experience, we're happy to look at that in place of a degree.
