Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate health care services in patients' residences, ensuring comfort and well-being.
• Perform essential homemaking tasks, creating a clean and orderly living environment.
• Accompany patients to doctor's appointments or hospital visits when necessary, offering support and assistance.
• Assist clients with personal care activities, ensuring their dignity and respect.
• Monitor patients through constant supervision, reporting on their condition and any changes.
• Maintain detailed care records and document all services provided through use of Agency timesheets.
• Assist patients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and independence.
• Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support, enhancing the quality of their daily lives.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as home health aide or home health aide certification preferred.
• Ability to monitor patients and to fill out timesheets
• Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
• Proficiency in English
• Caring and compassionate personality
• High school diploma
• CPR / First Aid certification
• Negative TB skin test or chest X-ray
