Project Manager II
The Project Manager II works as a direct liaison between Creative Operations and other cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered within scope, on-time, and within budget. This position will define job requirements for project planning, scheduling, monitoring, reporting, and implementing project and / or interrelated programs activities. The Project Manager will understand how to manage and negotiate trade-offs to deliver on time, within budget, and against agreed objectives. The Project Manager should have full lifecycle experience from scoping through delivery and can confidently navigate and prioritize business needs, resource management, schedules, and financials to successfully navigate and deliver all aspects of the assignment.
Lead project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting activities for a range of projects.
Develop and update project plans including project approaches, scheduling, timelines, tasks, resource requirements, critical paths, and deliverables and prepare project estimates on a timely basis and revise them as required or as scope of project changes.
Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), department heads, and compliance teams to gather requirements, validate procedure content and maintain a centralized repository of Marketing Department SOPs and ensure easy accessibility and organization.
Prepare and deliver presentations on project progress, results (post-mortem report), issues, and risks to supervisor, senior management level, and cross-functional work groups.
Document business decisions, gather feedback, and facilitate consolidation and workflows for project teams as needed.
Identify weaknesses in current process and work to improve them.
Lead and track multiple creative projects and timelines simultaneously.
Lead weekly project and status meetings.
Lead a small-scale program consisting of multiple projects and campaigns.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
You'll work on a collaborative, cross-functional team that supports some of the largest product promotions, incentive events, and training experiences for North American distributors and customers. Skills and background required to be successful :
Minimum 7 years of project management experience in a creative, internal / external agency or marketing related field.
Extraordinary cross-functional collaborator; inventive problem-solver who can lead key partners to tackle business problems, beyond assigning tasks and taking minutes.
Strong communication (both business and technical) and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented, project management skills with ability to support multiple projects and corresponding documentation.
Ability to identify problems, escalate to lead projects and manage program risks.
Deep knowledge of project management tools and processes.
Advanced financial and budgeting skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Education :
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or Communications OR equivalent required experience.
