CNC Laser Operator

Play a critical role in partnering with a metal and steel manufacture when you become a cnc laser operator for this family-owned business that has been around for more than 100 years in Omaha, NE.

What matters most as a cnc laser operator :

• Pay of $17-$18 an hour
• 2 nd shift, 2 : 30pm-12 : 30am Monday-Thursday

• Weekly pay via direct deposit

Your new role as a cnc laser operator :

• Ability to setup and operate CNC laser machine
• Knowledge and hands-on operation of CNC laser for metal fabrication including program retrieval, proper gases, proper nozzles, lenses, etc.
• Knowledge and understanding of metal fabrication process and concepts.
• Provide routine preventative maintenance and minor repairs to CNC laser machine.
• Setup metal fabrication machinery and other production necessities to produce "0 defect" parts.
• Check accuracy of work using blueprints and precision measuring tools.
• Accurately complete work orders with correct quantities of good and defective parts.
• Work a regular schedule determined by supervisory management
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.

What you need as a cnc laser operator :

• Ability to use Direct read measuring devices required.
• Ability to properly document paperwork.
• Previous experience in manufacturing engineering, fabrication management and / or operations of low and mid-sized volume metal fabrication preferred.
• Ability to operate a forklift and obtain certification.
• Ability to work in a team environment and / or independently.
