Database Escalation Engineer

A company is looking for a Database Escalation Engineer - Federal.

Key Responsibilities

Support production reliability and scalability of customer applications and infrastructure services

Restore database / application services and guide operations on database-related issues

Develop automation tools to enhance day-to-day operations

Required Qualifications

4+ years of experience with production databases, including Performance Tuning and Query Optimization

Experience with performance testing tools for large datasets in Postgres / MySQL / MariaDB environments

In-depth knowledge of profiling and tracing tools in Database and Linux layers

Experience with large-scale web-based distributed applications in a Linux environment

Exposure to the Linux platform at the sysadmin level; RHEL certification preferred
