Project Director - Industrial and Technical Training
This position is for a full-time, 12-month, unclassified, in-person staff position located on-site at our Bossier Campus. This is a grant funded position. This position provides direct management and oversight of the Center for Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering Technology (CAMET) at Bossier Parish Community College (BPCC), with a primary focus on developing and expanding non-credit workforce training. The Director is responsible for creating, scheduling, and implementing short-term, industry-driven programs, classes, and certifications that prepare individuals for high-demand careers in manufacturing, logistics, distribution, and skilled trades. These trainings are delivered across BPCC's campuses in Bossier City, Natchitoches, and Many, as well as at partner industry sites and correctional facilities throughout Northwest Louisiana. Working closely with regional employers, the Director ensures CAMET offerings are responsive to current and emerging workforce needs. This role also supports the broader mission of the Division of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) by advancing initiatives that strengthen BPCC's position as a leader in workforce development.
