The Events & Engagement Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all organizational events and outreach initiatives. This position plays a critical role in fostering member engagement, strengthening relationships with sponsors and affiliate members, delivering on specialty events, and representing the organization at local career fairs and housing events. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, creative, and skilled at delivering exceptional experiences for members, affiliate members, and the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Event Management
- Lead the planning and execution of recurring networking events.
- Oversee the organization’s annual events.
- Coordinate and manage the preparation and delivery of assigned webinar requests.
- Develop event timelines, budgets, and logistics to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Coordinate venue selection, catering, A / V, and on-site support for all events.
- Sponsorship & Affiliate Relations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with event sponsors and affiliate members (support services to the real estate industry).
- Develop and manage sponsor recognition, benefits, and deliverables connected to sponsorship packages.
- Seek opportunities to expand sponsorships and partnerships that align with the organization’s mission.
- Career & Community Outreach
- Represent the organization at local career fairs at high schools, colleges, and / or community and member housing related events, and brokerages.
- Coordinate outreach efforts to attract and engage the next generation of industry professionals.
- Represent the organization in ways that inspire interest in real estate careers and highlight the benefits of membership.
- Collaboration & Communication
- Reports directly to the Director of Professional Development and works closely with other senior staff to align events with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to promote events through communications, marketing, and social media.
- Provide post-event reporting, including attendance, feedback, and recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in event management, communications, marketing, education, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.3+ years of experience in event planning or related field.Strong organizational and project management skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.Creative problem solver with attention to detail and ability to adapt quickly.Proficiency with event and project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.Trade association experience is a plus.This position requires occasional early mornings, evenings, and limited travel to support organizational events.
