The Sr. Analyst, Franchise Profitability will facilitate timely and accurate reporting and analysis on franchisee restaurant profitability.
The role works closely with cross-functional departments across Firehouse Subs - Marketing, Operations, Development, Franchising, Construction and Field Support teams to provide visibility into current trends in profitability and identify outliers for further review and discussion with our franchisees to determine action plans to drive profitability.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Monitor monthly and quarterly reporting by Franchisees and ensure timely and accurate submission.
- Communicate with franchisee finance organizations with inquiries on data submissions, financial health information, and identified outliers.
- Analyze restaurant profitability and provide key insights to Director, Profitability and Field Team General Managers on current trends and focus areas.
- Support regular ad-hoc analysis identifying opportunities for profitability improvement
- Create and present reporting materials to Firehouse Subs Leadership team and field teams on current profitability trends by franchisee, region, division, and restaurant types for both US and Canada.
Required Skills :
- University degree in Business, Economics, Finance or a STEM related field
- 1-2 years of experience with entrepreneurial mindset with desire to learn and be challenged
- Strong analytical, organizational, and excel skills
- Familiarity with SQL
- Familiarity with Hyperion and Tableau is an asset
- Highly proficient with MS Office applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of the organization through various forms (oral presentation, powerpoint, etc.)
- Ability to function effectively in a team environment and independently
- Self-motivated and a self-starter
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while maintaining accuracy.
