Purpose Of The Role
The Rigging / SIW Superintendent serves as the on-site leader responsible for overseeing safe and efficient rigging and heavy lift operations within large-scale energy, chemical, or resource sector projects. This role ensures alignment with Worley's vision of delivering sustainable change by combining technical expertise with strong leadership to drive safety, quality, and operational excellence. The Superintendent plays a critical role in advancing Worley's ambition to be a global leader in sustainability solutions, managing resources and processes that contribute to successful project delivery while fostering a culture of safety, innovation, and collaboration.

Technical Leadership
Extensive experience in rigging and heavy lift operations, with a comprehensive understanding of rigging techniques, load calculations, and safety protocols.
Proven background in leading field supervision for large-scale construction projects within the energy, chemicals, or resources sectors.
Strong understanding of field administration, procurement processes, and engineering functions within complex project environments.
Advanced knowledge of systems, processes, and tools related to rigging and construction management.
Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams, providing clear direction while fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and resolve conflicts effectively.
Skilled in workface planning, scheduling, and workforce allocation to achieve project goals.
Deep commitment to promoting a safe work environment and advancing sustainable construction practices.
Experience leading risk assessments and implementing proactive safety and environmental strategies.
Journey-level trade certification or equivalent technical qualifications preferred.
Rigging certifications and relevant industry-specific safety credentials are highly valued.
