Computer Numerical Control Machinist

Pay Rate $ 58.00

In addition to hourly pay, qualified out-of-area team members will receive $170 daily allowance for lodging, $1,190.00 max allowance per week.

Saxon Aerospaceis looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. This role involves machine setup, operation, and troubleshooting in a fast-paced, quality-driven manufacturing environment.

• Key Responsibilities : S et up and operate multiple CNC machines and standalone mills
• Run and inspect first-part production to ensure accuracy and program stability
• Read and interpret blueprints, M & G code, and precision measuring instruments
• Troubleshoot basic production issues and assist in continuous improvement
• Maintain clean, organized workstations and follow all safety protocols
• Spot-check and deburr parts when not in active setup or production
• Complete required documentation and follow work order instructions accurately
• Qualifications : 5–8 years of CNC machining experience (heavy manufacturing preferred)
• Proficient in M & G code, blueprint reading, and machine setup
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
• Comfortable lifting up to 35 lbs and standing for extended periods
• High School Diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications a plus
