Job Title : Payroll Assistant
Location : New York, NY 10004
Pay Range : $32 to $35 hourly
Duties :
Process payroll for hourly and salaried employees. Provide assistance in entering and paying all wage garnishments. Process property payroll transfer reports. Ensure benefits deductions are accurate. Conduct audits to ensure accuracy and maintain data integrity. Provide support to leadership team for various other accounting related projects.
Seeking a Training & HR Communications Specialist based on-site.
Role requires supporting Payroll through content development, onboarding, and internal communications.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop training materials, job aids, memos, and internal communications
- Lead new hire orientation and onboarding activities
- Collaborate with Payroll team leads to document and communicate processes
- Ensure accuracy and clarity in all written materials
- Support process improvement and employee development initiatives Qualifications
Skills :
3+ years of relevant experience, including 1+ year in a supervisory or leadership role (education, retail, hospitality, HR, healthcare, sales, marketing, customer service)Background in PAYROLL, HR, onboarding, or trainingStrong communication, organization, and project management skillsHigh attention to detail and strong work ethicIndependent thinker with a passion for helping others growMicrosoft Office Suite (advanced)WebEx and collaborative toolsAdobe Captivate, Articulate 360, PowerPoint and other content development softwareFamiliarity with brand guidelines and visual design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite)Education :
Bachelor's degree (preferred in HR, Communications, Education, or Graphic Design)
