Key Responsibilities :
- Answer emergency and non-emergency calls in a timely and professional manner.
- Accurately record information provided by callers and relay it to the appropriate personnel.
- Work effectively under stressful conditions, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Collaborate with colleagues and other agencies to ensure seamless communication and effective response.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Additional responsibilities may include :
Bid for shift assignments every 6 months based on seniority.Complete the 9-1-1 Public Safety Telecommunicator Training Program within 11 ½ months of appointment.Receive certifications in Emergency Medical Dispatch, Emergency Fire Dispatch, and CPR during the first year of employment.
