We are conducting a search to find a Mining and Mineral Extraction Tax Accountant for our client, a firm specializing in federal, state, and foreign taxation for the mining industry.
The ideal candidate will have some corporate tax experience, along with proficiency in the Thompson Reuters software / Go Systems.

Responsibilities for the Mining and Mineral Extraction Tax Accountant :
- Prepare complex tax returns for various clients
- Utilize tax related software
- Identify, research, and resolve complex tax, accounting, and business issues
- Assist in the preparation of tax provisions under ASC 740 and IAS 12
Qualifications for the Mining and Mineral Extraction Tax Accountant :
- BA in Accounting with 3.5 GPA or higher
- 1-3 years of tax preparation experience
- Strong prioritization skills with competing deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
- Experience with Thompson Reuters GoSystem Tax RS
