Job description

A company is looking for a Senior Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

Review inpatient medical records to evaluate documentation for accurate diagnosis and procedure assignments

Provide ongoing education to physicians and healthcare providers on clinical documentation improvement

Collaborate with nursing and clinical staff to resolve documentation queries prior to patient discharge

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania or a Multistate License

Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience

Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare-related field is required

Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS) or Certified Documentation Improvement Practitioner (CDIP) certification is required

Basic Life Support Certification
