JOB DESCRIPTION

SUMMARY

The Servers job is to execute River Stone Manors steps of service at the highest quality level while maintaining a professional attitude and appearance.

To be in the hospitality business, it is imperative to have a service mindset. Hospitality is defined as the generous reception and entertainment of guests, visitors or strangers. This is what we do. REPORTING STRUCTURE

Reports to :

Event Coordinator and Banquet Manager

Direct reports : None

HOURS

Driven by weekly schedule, weekend availability required

POSITION DETAILS

Server Accountabilities :

• Assists in the proper set-up and take down of all catered events.
• Attends all pre-function meetings to review all details of the event with Banquet Manager
• Communicates feedback from guests and / or associates to the Event Manager and / or Captain
• Is familiar with all food being served at events including preparation, main ingredients, side dishes and garnishes, and any allergies listed
• Takes orders using menu cards with position numbers by confirming with the guests at the table
• Clears each table thoroughly between courses removing soiled silverware and glassware
• Completes quality checks immediately after each course is served
• When possible, assists fellow servers with table maintenance in order to exceed guest expectations as a team
• Maintains cleanliness and order of server stations
