Data Architect
Our client, a specialty insurance company, is in search of a Data Architect. This role will report directly to the Head of Data.
It is a permanent opportunity.

Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data architecture solutions.
- Design and develop data models, schemas, and database structures to support business applications and analytical needs.
- Define data standards, best practices, and guidelines for data management and governance.
- Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and tools to implement data architecture solutions.
- Implement data integration processes to ensure seamless flow of data across systems and platforms.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role in the insurance industry or financial services sector.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling principles and techniques (e.g., ER modeling, dimensional modeling).
- Proficiency in database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, and data warehousing platforms.
- Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools and data integration techniques.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data services and technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional) a plus.
