The Director of Marketing will blend creative vision with strategic discipline, translating our Clients unique voice into compelling social storytelling. This person will oversee all aspects of organic social content and work closely with the CEO and the existing marketing team to create a consistent, engaging, and high-performing social presence. They will provide hands-on direction and support to a small but growing team, managing daily content planning, posting, and community engagement while ensuring alignment with brand vision and campaign priorities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the development and execution of a cohesive social media strategy aligned with the brand and business goals.
- Define the brands social voice, tone, and storytelling approach across all platforms.
- Manage the content calendar to ensure alignment with campaign priorities, and brand moments.
- Direct day-to-day social planning, posting, and community management with a hands-on approach.
- Identify and capitalize on emerging trends, platform updates, and cultural moments to drive engagement and relevance.
- Concept and execute content that brings product stories and brand campaigns to life in visually engaging ways.
- Partner closely with the CEO and marketing team to ensure social storytelling reflects the brands creative vision and growth strategy.
- Analyze performance metrics to optimize content, inform strategy, and improve reach and engagement.
- Leverage insights to balance creative intuition with data-driven decisions.
- Foster an authentic and connected community by engaging with followers and amplifying user-generated content.
- Mentor and guide a small team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
QUALIFICATIONS
8+ years of experience in social media and content strategy, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.Proven success building and scaling brand presence across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging platforms.Strong understanding of social media trends, platform algorithms, and community engagement.Experience integrating social storytelling into broader brand and campaign strategies.Data-driven with the ability to translate insights into actionable creative ideas.Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.Experience in fashion, beauty, or lifestyle brands preferred.Highly organized and resourceful, with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
