Position Overview

The

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

will oversee all financial operations of Fierce Firearms, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, banking relationships, and long-term strategic financial management. This role requires a proven financial executive with experience in

manufacturing , strong operational understanding, and the ability to support an expanding, multi-department production company.

Key Responsibilities

Lead all financial planning, analysis, and reporting for the company.

Oversee accounting, AP / AR, payroll, and cost accounting functions.

Develop and maintain accurate budgets, forecasts, and financial models.

Implement and optimize financial processes, internal controls, and ERP utilization.

Manage cash flow, capital expenditure planning, and inventory financials.

Partner with CEO and leadership team to drive strategic decisions, growth plans, and profitability goals.

Provide financial insights on manufacturing operations, production costs, margins, and efficiencies.

Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, lenders, and financial partners.

Ensure compliance with all regulatory and industry-specific financial requirements.

Lead and mentor internal finance team members.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).

7–10+ years of senior financial leadership , preferably in a

manufacturing environment .

Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and production-based financial systems.

Experience with ERP financial modules and manufacturing workflows.

Proven ability to analyze operations, improve margins, and support growth.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.

Preferred Experience

Work in firearms, sporting goods, or precision manufacturing industries.

Familiarity with supply chain finance, capital equipment planning, and multi-department manufacturing environments.

Experience in a medium-size company ($20M–$50M+ revenue).
