Facilities Technician I

The Facilities Technician I is responsible for working as part of a team in order to achieve and maintain a clean, safe, productive, and organized work environment. Vanguard EMS, Inc. is in the service business. What you'll do :

• Perform interior and exterior building maintenance
• Perform interior and exterior janitorial duties
• Anticipate and respond to changing seasonal requirements
• Provide supplies, furniture and other maintenance to production, engineering, and other departments
• Participate in internal physical moves
• Respond to facilities work requests in a timely and professional manner
• Store, distribute and recycle paper and other supplies as needed
• Assist with special material pick-up and deliveries
• Provide support for special events or customer tours
• Maintain ESD Floor Compliance via floor cleaning

Requirements :

While performing the duties of this job, the employee uses his / her hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear. The employee uses computer and telephone equipment. Specific vision requirements of this job include close vision and distance vision.
