Job Description

AECOM is seeking a mid-level Air Quality / Environmental Engineer to provide air quality compliance services to our federal clients.

This hybrid position will be based in our San Antonio, TX location.

Responsibilities of this role include :

  • Research, review, and analyze relevant air quality policy and regulations.
  • Calculate air emissions according to scientific and regulatory standards.
  • Interact with clients on project tasks in a professional and highly competent manner.
  • Participate in other environment-related projects and tasks as required.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and / or education in engineering focused on environmental compliance.
  • Nationwide travel up to 50%.
  • Valid U.S Driver's license is required for this role.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Master's Degree in engineering.
  • 4 years of experience focused on environmental compliance.
  • Competent with mathematic and scientific calculations.
  • Proficiency in manipulating / managing large data sets with tools such as Microsoft Excel and / or Access.
  • Experience in general air quality regulations and permits.
  • Experience in regulatory and policy analysis.
  • Knowledge of Department of Defense (DOD) management practices as they relate to environmental compliance.

Additional Information

Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required.

LI-EM1

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $65,000.00 - $80,000.00.
