Allied Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Cardiovascular Technologist - CV Tech Senior

Job Details :

Work 8-hour day shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 00 PM or 7 : 30 AM to 3 : 30 PM

Full-time position working 5 days per week

Weekend requirements may apply

Call and call back responsibilities required with 30-minute onsite response time

May be required to work overtime with little or no notice

Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA only)

Must hold Medical Radiologist Technologist (MRT) through Texas Medical Board and ARRT for radiological technologist graduates, or Registry from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS or RCES) for cardiovascular technologist graduates

Minimum 2-4 years experience as Radiology Technologist or Cardiovascular Technologist required

Minimum 1-3 years experience with Cardiac Catheterization procedures required

High school graduate or equivalent required plus graduate degree from approved program

Assist cardiologists, vascular surgeons, and radiologists in cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures

Prepare cardiac cath lab and compile patient information and paperwork

Operate electronic monitoring equipment and angiographic equipment

Function as scrub technician for cardiac pacemakers, defibrillators, and various procedures

Maintain sterile technique and provide equipment and supplies during procedures

Schedule patients and ensure appropriate supplies and equipment availability
