We're seeking a talented and driven Chef de Cuisine to lead our back-of-house operations and continue elevating our culinary program.
Job Description :
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Chef de Cuisine to join our leadership team. This role requires a chef with a strong foundation in American cuisine, who thrives under pressure and is confident managing high-volume service and large events. The ideal candidate will bring a creative approach to menu development, lead with integrity, and set the tone for kitchen culture and consistency.
Responsibilities :
Lead day-to-day kitchen operations with a hands-on approach during service
Create and execute menus focused on American cuisine with seasonal and locally sourced ingredients
Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and consistency across all service periods
Manage BOH staff scheduling, training, and development
Collaborate closely with the Events and FOH teams to execute large-scale events, both in-house and off-site
Oversee inventory management, ordering, and food cost control
Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and compliance with health and safety regulations
Be present and proactive for 50+ hours per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications :
Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine in a high-volume restaurant setting
Strong foundation in American culinary techniques and seasonal menu planning
Proven ability to lead and inspire a kitchen team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Experience coordinating and executing events with 100+ guests
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Food Protection Certificate (or ability to obtain)
