Engineering Technician
As an Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for building and testing complex mechanical and electrical systems within a cleanroom environment. You will support process improvements, engineering testing, lean initiatives, and quality improvements.
Responsibilities
- Produce products in accordance with established specifications, observing and reporting ongoing problems in product construction or operation.
- Contribute to product and process improvements, supporting problem-solving efforts.
- Manufacture and deliver complex systems following established procedures, solving technical problems, and setting an example for team members.
- Oversee the entire process from assembly to testing and act as a reference source for problem-solving within your area of expertise.
- Actively contribute to the pilot production process and transition to volume production, developing and improving TPD, processes, and records.
- Investigate the impact of new procedures on the production process, offering constructive ideas for product improvement.
- Acquire and share knowledge of new and established products, processes, modifications, sub-modules, and complete systems.
- Support teamwork by seeking solutions and ideas and implementing departmental tasks.
- Coordinate activities in the production plan, monitoring tool, material, and equipment usage.

AS or BS Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Chemical, or equivalent experience preferredManufacturing internship or co-op experienceLean Manufacturing Training (Intro to Lean, 5S, Kaizen, VSM) preferredMechanical skillsWork Environment
The position offers shifts on 1st Shift (Mon-Fri, 6 : 00 am-2 : 30 pm) and CWW Nights N2 (Wednesday-Saturday, 6 : 00 pm-6 : 00 am with a 15% shift differential and daily overtime). Training will likely occur during the 1st Shift for 4-6 weeks. You will work in a cleanroom environment, which requires adherence to specific attire and protocols.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00 / hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Wilton,CT.
