We are currently seeking skilled Shipfitter s for a potential 5-year project in Norfolk, VA. This opportunity involves hands-on labor working at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, offering a dynamic and fast-paced environment for experienced professionals.

Note : This position is contingent upon contract award. Employment will begin only if and when the company secures the government contract associated with this role.

Overview :

Fabricate, assemble, and install metal structures for ship construction and repair.

Responsibilities :

• Cut, shape, and weld structural steel for ship frames.
• Install bulkheads, decks, and foundations.
• Read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Use precision measuring and cutting tools.
