Maintenance Planner
Job Description
The role of the Maintenance Planner is to improve work force productivity and work quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning and coordination of labor, parts and material, and equipment access.
The Planner uses Maintenance Management software supports the formalization of maintenances process and ensues data integrity into and out of the management software.
The planners also support Maintenance department objectives including an increase in preventative activities, decrease in reactionary maintenance, adherence to a robust work order system.
This position will maintain a focus on safety, performance improvements, cost reduction and standardized maintenance processes.
Supports the Maintenance department with the implementation of systems to facilitate the preparation, planning, scheduling, coordination and execution of maintenance activities.
Communicates and reports with the appropriate parties the planning and scheduling of these activities
- Coordinates and implements strategic and regular maintenance schedules.
- Generates and administers PMs, maintains the master preventative calendar
- Ensures training and coordination of safety procedures in all maintenance tasks
- Coordinates work with subcontractors
Qualifications
Minimum :
- 5+ years of relevant maintenance planning experience
- Associates Degree Engineering or related field with appropriate certifications
- Knowledge of Manufacturing processes and industrial environment
- Proven work experience with project management
- Microsoft Project, Word, Excel
- Maintenance Management Software
Preferred :
- 7+ years of relevant maintenance planning experience
- Bachelor’s Degree Engineering or related field
- Knowledge of maintenance management systems
- Proven leadership or management experience
- Certified in Maintenance reliability
Technical Ability
- Ability to accurately interpret technical documents used to complete maintenance tasks; collect technical data, establish trends, and draw valid conclusions targeting root cause or failure prediction.
- Ability to perform basic job scopes (Task, Tools, and resources)
- Ability to read and interpret complex drawings, schematics, and diagrams.
- Ability to identify and facilitate resolution of problems with a sense of urgency.
- Must understand maintenance workflow processes.
- Ability to Lead a formal root cause and problem analysis processes.
- Ability to identify resource requirements for maintenance tasks. Ability to create technical documents for maintenance procedures.
Salary Range : $61,546 - $92,320
