Job Title: Manufacturing Technician
Job Description
As a Manufacturing Technician, you will operate equipment to accurately utilize raw ingredients and create flavor products. Your role involves ensuring a thorough understanding of safety, quality, and operational procedures. This is a 1st shift role, but with the potential to switching to 2nd shift.
Responsibilities
- Operate equipment to accurately utilize raw ingredients and create flavor products.
- Ensure understanding and adherence to all safety, quality, and operational procedures.
- Utilize tools and electronic/computer systems for compounding and container filling.
- Use computer, scan gun, or other tools to correctly match ingredients to shop orders.
- Follow production, safety, quality, and operational procedures to verify and record information during the production process.
- Ensure proper ventilation and use of safety equipment.
- Develop an understanding of Quality Control requirements for sampling, product testing, and equipment swabbing.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
- 1-2 years of manufacturing or production experience, ideally in a pharmaceutical, food, or nutraceutical environment.
- Knowledge of machine operating and production.
- Strong emphasis on safety practices.
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math skills, including ratios and weighing of product.
- Knowledge of FDA/GMP regulations.
- Ability to follow procedures and directions to properly identify products and follow formulas.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Ability to lift 50-75+ lbs regularly.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Motivation and a good attitude are highly valued.

Work Environment
This role is within a flavor and fragrances manufacturing company, focusing on sweet flavors such as strawberry, root beer, and peanut butter. The environment is small, with only 15 team members, requiring the ability to work independently and take initiative. The shift is from 5 am to 1:30 pm.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rancho Cucamonga, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
