We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive
- Customer Service Representative
- to support customers in our fabrication operation. The ideal candidate will act as the main point of contact for customer orders, quotes, and product inquiries—ensuring seamless coordination between production, sales, and shipping. You’ll work closely with internal teams to deliver high-quality service to clients in industries such as automotive, medical, packaging, and industrial applications.
Key Responsibilities :
Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries related to custom products, lead times, specifications, and pricing.Process customer orders and quotes accurately, ensuring all specifications are clearly documented.Coordinate with production and scheduling teams to confirm availability, lead times, and delivery dates.Track orders through the production process and proactively communicate status updates or delays to customers.Assist with troubleshooting product or delivery issues and provide prompt, solutions-focused support.Maintain accurate customer records, quotes, and communications in the CRM or ERP system.Work with engineering or technical teams to ensure customer specifications are feasible and understood.Follow up on customer satisfaction and handle complaints or returns professionally.Collaborate with logistics and shipping to confirm delivery details and resolve transit issues.Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or relevant coursework preferred.2+ years of experience in customer service, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment.Understanding of manufacturing processes.Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly.Proficiency with ERP or CRM systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Salesforce).Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Job Type : Full-time
