Position Information Job Title Adjunct Art History Instructor - WCC Location Woodland Community College - Woodland, CA Job Description BASIC FUNCTION :
- Develop and deliver instructional lectures for Art courses up to 10 hours / week
- Organize and teach all levels of Art classes
- Use appropriate teaching methods to facilitate student learning;
- Teach day, evening, and / or weekend teaching assignments, which may include distance learning (interactive television, online) and accelerated courses;
- Assess Student Learning Outcomes every semester;
- Participate in department, division, and college-wide initiatives and committees if desired
REQUIRED DUTIES :
Demonstrate sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
Essential Duties Summary Required Qualifications Minimum Qualifications :
- Master’s in art history, history of art and architecture, or visual culture / visual studies OR
- Bachelor’s in art history AND Master’s in history OR
- Master’s in art with a recorded emphasis or concentration in art history OR
- The equivalent Desired / Preferred Qualifications Physical Demands Range / Step Range / Step : Step 1 - Step 7 (Based on degree and teaching experience) Salary Range Salary / Range : $53.
