The Director of Compensation will have over ten years of compensation experience in global, publicly traded, private, or private equity-backed companies.
They will bring extensive knowledge of global compensation plan design and administration - base salary, annual incentive, and equity, including deep benchmarking expertise, as well as an understanding of monetary rewards and non-monetary recognition to promote employee engagement and retention.
Responsibilities :
- Develop, implement, and lead a comprehensive global compensation strategy that aligns with the company's business goals and ensures competitive and fair compensation, mobility, and recognition practices
- Consult directly with the HR Leadership team and other Functional Leadership teams as a subject matter authority to ensure compensation, mobility, and recognition programs and governance are aligned and relevant to both the market and internal equity, well documented and compliant
- Oversees all aspects of compensation, mobility, and recognition programs, including salary structures, annual bonus plans, sales bonus plans, other incentives, and budgets
- Inspire change management, process improvement, communications and engagement initiatives to ensure our colleagues and leaders understand our compensation, mobility and recognition programs
- Complete a global compensation harmonization project
- Held drive and design executive compensation, including equity, LTI, and STI
- Work closely with Finance, Recruiting, Benefits, and HRBP's to drive Total Rewards strategy
- Lead and mentor a team of compensation professionals, fostering their growth and development, and ensuring they provide high-quality support to the organization
Requirements :
- 12 or more years of related experience (Compensation, Total Rewards, etc.) within a larger global company
- 6 or more years of diversified leadership, planning, communication, organization, and people management experience
- Demonstrated leadership experience in global compensation management
- Strong understanding of global compensation principles, regulations, and market trends
- Successful track record of designing and implementing sales compensation plans that empower sales teams to achieve desired outcomes
- Ability to analyze complex problems and draw conclusions from data
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop a team, empower employees, and collaborate with different departments
- Bachelor's Degree required; MBA or other relevant Advanced degree preferred
- Exceptional influencing skills and ability to work effectively in a matrix environment
- Comp certifications preferred
