Senior Living Resident Care Director at Merrill Gardens. Base pay range : $90,000.00 / yr - $126,000.00 / yr. Merrill Gardens at Brentwood is accepting applications for a Resident Care Director to support residents within the community.

Base pay range
$90,000.00 / yr - $126,000.00 / yr
Responsibilities
- Resident Services : Develops and implements the highest standards for assisted living services; works directly with residents to evaluate needs and services; conducts and / or assists with electronic evaluation of incoming residents and periodic re-evaluation to ensure services rendered are documented and charged for according to Merrill Gardens' policies; implements services during new resident move-in and assists with orientation to the community; provides direct care to residents as needed according to identified service needs; accurately assesses, communicates, and documents resident status; observes and reports significant changes in resident behavior and health to the GM, physician, and family per state regulations; conducts regular meetings with residents and families; communicates with resident family members, physicians, and pharmacists as needed; ensures Resident Rights and Responsibilities are protected and enforced; recognizes and prevents elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation; addresses difficult resident behaviors with dignity and respect; assures compliance with all State Rules and Regulations of assisted living.
- Supervisory Responsibilities : Provides coaching and development opportunities; sets clear expectations; oversees training and certification of staff; builds effective teams; determines staffing levels; prepares staffing schedules to meet standards of care.
- Administration : Adheres to budgetary guidelines; coordinates with General Manager for financial stability of the department; provides weekly status reports; maintains resident records and department documentation; complies with state-mandated reporting and regulatory audits; provides additional management reports as required.
Qualifications
Education
Current LPN / LVN or RN licensure (as specified by state), Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, First Aid / CPR certification within 30 days of hire where required, dementia training within six months if applicable.
Experience
3 years' related experience; experience in assisted living, geriatric nursing or dementia care; experience in medication administration and hands-on personal care preferred; budgeting and cost control experience; experience operating an electronic care system.
Physical Requirements
Frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 75 lbs, bending, reaching, and other physical movement; reasonable accommodations available to enable performance of essential functions.
