Job descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure atmosphere for staff, patients, and visitors. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any unusual conditions. Observe and report any security-related incidents or hazards encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel. Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification as needed, and helping to maintain authorized access to restricted areas. Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency situations by following established protocols and providing guidance as directed. Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by site-specific procedures. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. - Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
