Microsoft's Finance Rotation Program (FRP ) is one of the premier financial analysis programs in tech. This opportunity is an investment in early-in-profession talent, offering training within core finance teams that are driving industry-leading work. Our analysts take on some of the biggest challenges in Finance and have the chance to work abroad , all while building a strong community with their cohort.
Over the course of two years, FRP Analysts will complete up to four , six-month rotations in Financial Planning & Analysis roles. They'll get to submit preferences for teams that interest them most across corporate finance, sales and product groups like Azure, M365, and Gaming, all while using best-in-class AI tools to solve complex business problems. As an FRP Analyst, you can expect to develop your finance skills rapidly, contribute meaningfully, and interact with senior leaders, gaining insights and mentorship to help you accelerate your career.

Responsibilities
Apply deep analytical thinking and finance acumen to solve business problems, utilizingfinancial modeling to deliver actionable insights.
Leverage AI tools and data mining / querying methods to enhance the speed and quality of financial analysis, while actively learning and recommending process improvements for reporting and data collection.
Communicate analysis clearly and logically to drive recommendations and decision-making.
Conduct comprehensive reviews of financial documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications ?
Bachelor's Degree (OR Currently Pursuing) in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Data Science, or related field
OR equivalent experience??
Proven experience in Excel (pivot tables, Macros, VBA, etc) or equivalent tools
Understanding of fundamental finance acumen including data modeling, data analytics, FP&A, forecasting, interpreting financial statements, and reporting

Financial Analysis IC2 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $67,800 - $122,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $92,600 - $139,800 per year.
