Forecasting Analyst

As a Forecasting Analyst at Southern Company Services, you'll have the opportunity to shape critical decisions for a leading electric utility by developing and communicating energy and peak demand forecasts, collaborating with a broad network of internal stakeholders, and rapidly building expertise in electricity sales, revenue, and demand modeling. Job Responsibilities :

• Develop and communicate the energy, peak demand, and revenue forecasts for Southern Company's electric utility operating companies.
• Regularly improve and enhance company understanding of energy usage trends and their impact on energy demands and company strategies.
• Prepare and present results of the forecast and related projects to the operating company representatives.
• Provide technical expertise in forecasting and modeling across the company.
• Provide technical support in regulatory proceedings like Integrated Resource Plans (IRP) and rate case filings and PSC.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients.
• Perform special projects and assignments.
