Job Description
Our client is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to drive sales and rentals of compact construction equipment across the Southern Illinois market.
This role is ideal for a motivated, relationship-focused salesperson with a strong background in equipment or related industries.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and grow business within an assigned territory through customer visits and proactive prospecting.
- Promote equipment, parts, rentals, and service solutions to maximize customer value.
- Conduct product demonstrations and present equipment benefits with confidence.
- Handle the complete sales cycle, from quotes and contracts to order fulfillment.
- Track sales activities, set goals, and consistently work toward exceeding targets.
Qualifications :
3 to 5 years of proven outside sales experience, preferably in equipment, rental, or construction-related industries.Knowledge of compact or construction equipment strongly preferred.Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field is a plus; equivalent experience considered.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently.Willingness to travel throughout the territory, including some overnight stays.Equal Opportunity Employer
