Basic Job Functions

Nucor Business Technology (NBT) is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst for its Finance team to work with NBT teammates and other partners to align, optimize, and deliver a fully functional ERP / MES solution to Nucor's Sheet, Plate and Structural Mills.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Facilitating discussions between divisions and partners to develop aligned business processes.
• Performing gap analysis and documenting comprehensive business requirements, such as process flows, business rules, interface design, data analysis and data mapping in collaboration with subject matter experts and IT stakeholders.
• Solution design : define design options, analyze potential value, recommend solutions, specify and model requirements, etc.
• Testing : create test scenarios / scripts (for functional, negative and regression testing) and execute testing in various environments
• Training : create related documentation and training for both internal and external customers / users.

This is a full-time position with Nucor Business Technology, based in Irving, TX. Project-related overnight travel as needed, up to 50%.
