We’re seeking a hands-on specialist to keep our CNC and automated equipment running at peak performance. You’ll be the go-to resource across Department 506, partnering with the Facilities Manager and cross-functional teams to deliver safe, efficient, and reliable operations.

Key Responsibilities
Install, align, maintain, and repair CNC and traditional machine tools.Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults; overhaul and rebuild machine assemblies as needed.Work to NEC standards on wiring, control panels, fixtures, motors, and circuits.Execute disciplined electrical / electronic diagnostics and prepare preliminary electrical schematics.Order parts, manage spares, and estimate labor / materials for planned work.Support facility tasks : new equipment installs, general repairs, cleaning, painting, and seasonal snow removal.Adhere to company policies, procedures, quality documentation, and work instructions.Qualifications
5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.Proven CNC troubleshooting experience; strong mechanical aptitude.VFD and PLC knowledge; comfortable with ladder logic and microprocessor-based controls (preferred).Ability to read / interpret mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic prints and schematics.Skill at tracing machine alarms to root cause—programming, hardware, or operator-related.Connecticut E2 license preferred; Associate degree / certification or relevant military experience considered.Forklift, hoist, and scissor-lift operation capability.Fluency in English (read / write / speak).Physical Requirements
