About The Position

Position Summary :

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist for a high-volume, fast-paced 13-week travel assignment at a busy emergency-focused imaging department. This role involves advanced CT scanning across multiple specialties using both Toshiba and GE equipment. Technologists must be flexible with shifts and capable of working independently, providing high-quality diagnostic imaging for a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform routine and complex CT procedures including contrast-enhanced scans of the chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, and musculoskeletal system

Support specialized studies such as aspirations, biopsies, brain perfusion, vascular and coronary CTA

Operate Toshiba Aquilion and GE Lightspeed 64-slice scanners

Follow isolation precautions and administer contrast media safely

Document accurately using Fuji Synapse PACS and Epic (preferred)

Assist with patient transport and workflow support as needed

Ensure compliance with hospital safety standards and radiation safety protocols

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications :

Minimum 1 year of recent CT experience

ARRT (R) & (CT) certifications – Required

California CRT license – Required

BLS certification – Required

Must have active CA license at time of submission

Experience in adult acute care, outpatient, and ED settings

Community hospital experience required

First-time travelers accepted

Preferred Skills :

Pediatric and infant scanning experience

Vascular CTA, pulmonary embolism protocols, and contrast safety knowledge

Experience in high-acuity / stroke-certified facilities

Familiarity with Epic charting system and Fuji Synapse PACS
