We are currently searching for a Sr. Project Manager, Architecture . This position can be a hybrid role in our offices in Baltimore, Akron, Columbus, Pensacola, Jacksonville, Lexington or Louisville
What You Will Do
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated licensed architect to manage a wide range of architectural projects. This position will provide the individual with an opportunity to grow their talents and increase exposure in the AE market sector. Our Architecture Group focuses on projects in the fields of :
- Large Commercial / Public Sector
- Federal / Dept of Defense / military
- Community / Municipal projects (civic centers, libraries, govt' buildings, recreation)
- Education (higher education and K-12)
- Justice
- Residential
- Workplace
- Hospitality
- Healthcare
- Historic Restoration
- Churches
Key Responsibilities
Develops master plans, facility needs assessments, and programs; facilitates workshops and charrettes; develops studies and reports; and presents findings, master plans, recommendations, and concepts.Develops design and construction documents, facilitates charrettes, conducts field assessments, and produces other project deliverables.Collaborates with PRIME AE's inter-office divisions – MEP, Structural Engineering – as well as external subconsultants.Plans and supervises the preparation of construction documents and other deliverables for projects according to client goals, needs, and budgets.Coordinates design disciplines, both in-house and with outside consultants.Conducts periodic on-site observation of work during construction to monitor compliance with Detailed Design Documents.Utilizes computer-assisted design software and equipment to prepare project designs and construction documentation – specifically Revit.May direct activities of workers engaged in preparing drawings and specification documents for the Conceptual Design Phase, Schematic Design Phase, and / or the Detailed Design Phase of a project.May attend industry conferences.What You Will Bring
Registered Architect (preferably in Maryland, Ohio, Florida, Kentucky; or NCARB certification for state-to-state reciprocity).LEED Accredited Professional strongly preferred.15 years' combined experience in architectural design and project management.Experienced in all phases of project design, construction documentation, and construction materials.Strong interpersonal skills, verbal, listening and written communication, including client presentations.Experience with coordination of multiple design disciplines required for developing complete documents.Proficient in Revit.Strong knowledge base of building codes, standards, building structures, and engineering systems.Ability to travel.Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills.Why PRIME AE?
