Job Description

The Operations Associate position is a bargaining represented position responsible for all aspects of electronic console assembly, electronic cabinets, cable harnesses, and / or electro-mechanical assemblies. Typical duties may include hand soldering, mechanical assembly, inspection, cable assembly, electronic console assembly, electronic system assembly, point-to-point wiring and repair of printed circuit boards.

Key Responsibilities

Experience with building console / cable / cabinet assemblies

Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize assembling processes and improve product quality.

Able to obtain IPC-610 / 620 and / or J Standard 001 certification

Ability to read, understand, and interpret electronic and mechanical diagrams and assembly instructions.

Demonstrated aptitude for mechanical assembly

Ability to tolerate exposure to solder paste, flux, and solder fumes.

Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance

Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot wire issues.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Basic computer skills for record-keeping and documentation.

Preferred Additional Skills

Experience in mechanical assembly, hand soldering, and self-inspection

Three (3) or more years of experience in high tech electronics environment

Three (3) or more years of experience in manufacturing

Completion of a certified technical school training

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $29.09. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
