Our highly skilled interdisciplinary team of care givers-which includes top Pulmonary Physicans, licened Respiratory Respiratory Therapists, Registered Nurses, CNA's, Wound Care Specialists and Rehabilitation Experts who all aim to restore maximum function and independence to pulmonary compromised patients while providing families with an unparalled level of support.
Shift : Full Time Nights 11p-7a, e / o weekend and rotating holidays.
Responsibilties Inculde;
U nder general supervision and medical direction performs respiratory care related procedures.
Manages artifcial airways, performs airway care and maintenance, ventilator management , troubleshooting and maintenance of mechanical ventilators.
Assessment and treatment of residents / patients respiratory status, ABG analysis. Administers prescribed therapies such as, airway clearance;
chest physiotherapy, percussion / vibration, deep tracheal suctioning and, aerosolized medications. Review physican orders, correct aersol therapy medication dosage.
Communication and documentation is vital in patient care. Communiate with RT's, nurses, physicans and supervisior / management with any pertinent information regarding patient / respiratory status.
Assist in emercency cardio-pulmonary resuscitation. Therapist must be CPR certified. ACLS perferred but not required at time of hire.
