JOB PURPOSE AND SUMMARY
The role of an Associate Financial Planner is pivotal in the realm of financial advisory. They serve as a crucial support system for financial planners, aiding them in their mission to guide clients toward effective stewardship of their resources. This involves a multifaceted approach, blending qualitative and quantitative analyses to craft tailored strategies that align with each client's unique financial goals and circumstances.
Provides exemplary advice and service to a base of 50-75 clients on matters related to financial planning and investment management. Assists Planners in the development of comprehensive financial plans, responds to ad hoc questions, and assists clients with implementing the financial and investment plans. New financial planning strategies can only be presented to the client in conjunction with or with the approval of the financial planner.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participates in client meetings with Planner.
- Updates clients' financial information in our database on an ongoing basis.
- Prepares financial plan and other client meeting preparatory.
- Identifies gaps in clients' plans relative to their goals, then strategize methods of reducing or eliminating those gaps.
- Educates clients in financial planning and investment concepts.
- Provides financial advice to clients.
- Responds to ad hoc client questions.
- Conveys complex strategies in both oral and written form.
- Juggle multiple projects at one time and meet deadlines.
- Monitors workflows required to service clients.
- Provides excellent client service.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree required.CFP® or ready to sit for exam.2-3 years of experience with a financial planning firm.Demonstrated success in cultivating client relationships.Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite of products; ability to learn in-house programs and tools.CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTORS :
