Overview We are seeking a full-time Quality Engineer 2 in our Olathe, KS location. In this role, you will be responsible for leading small projects and / or sub projects in analysis, development and improvement of quality systems.

Essential Functions Develops process FMEA, Control Plans, conduct capability assessment, and measurement systems analysis Analyzes and improves quality systems to enhance product and process quality and reduce cost Develops Inspection Reference Plans in support of RMI (as assigned) Conducts audits, documents audit findings and ensures closure of audit findings Analyzes failures and provides corrective and preventive action to respond to customer complaints Data collection, analysis, and dissemination including quality performance, cost and reliability / warranty calculations Collaborates and adds value in engineering design reviews Understands and implements lean tools and methods in performance of essential functions Estimates level of effort for a task Analyzes data to determine quality trends, finds technical root causes and implement corrective actions for given problems Designs custom tooling as needed for specific applications Provides reliable solutions to a variety of problems using sound problem solving techniques Serves as a mentor to less experienced quality engineers (Quality Engineer 1) Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or related field AND a minimum of 1 year relevant experience, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience Excellent academics (cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.
