Hourly Pay Range : $38.67 - $59.94 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

What You Will Do :
The Surgery Research Manager will prioritize and manage clinical trials, while providing and maintaining oversight of project operations and strategic planning.This position requires a broad understanding of the clinical trial processes, such as writing protocols and consent forms, preparing regulatory and grant submissions, fulfilling contract requirements, and overseeing and fulfilling financial operations. Will establish timelines and goals for projects, ensuring all IRB submissions are accurate, study procedures are followed, and all research staff are following institutional policies.The research manager will oversee clinical research operations and assume significant HR responsibilities, including hiring, onboarding, training, mentoring, and managing research staff. May be required to assist research staff and investigators when staff coverage is needed. This may include data collection and data management.Will assist the senior manager in facilitating communication and work operations with non-senior staff.This position helps orient new surgeons to the research procedures and requirements at Endeavor Health and assists with the surgeons strategic planning of their research program.This position also handles the financial reporting, tracking and transfers of all surgery research accounts and special purpose funds.The position's responsibilities to the Senior Manager involve tracking all research related projects including databases and revenues. Will modify budgets and oversee continued growth of studies, research program, and funding.The person in this position is expected to exhibit excellent leadership characteristics and to be willing and able to make independent decisions and assume responsibility for them.What You Will Need :
Education : Bachelor's in the health field. Master's or doctorate preferred.Certification : An individual with a CCRP, ACRP, or related certification is preferred.Experience needed : Background in surgery or surgery research preferred. Five plus years of experience in IRB preparation, grant writing, and publication preparation Drafting and managing sponsored budgets and grant budgets, federal and non-federal. One to two years of supervisory experience is strongly preferred.Skills Required :Broad knowledge of the clinical trial processAbility to manage projects and collaborate with physician leadership and cross-departmental leadershipMust be detail-oriented and an excellent oral and written communicatorExcellent computer and database literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office platforms, Outlook, and equipment as necessary to carry out study protocols, device protocolsExperience with Epic EMR strongly preferredBenefits :
